Who Am I?
I’m Umar Yoosuf, a Muslim entrepreneur, creator and personal brand architect based in Dubai, UAE. I help creators, coaches, and entrepreneurs build personal brands that blend purpose, clarity, and digital influence.
My mission is to help people wake up everyday with excellence and impact, as they everyday lives.

💼 Founder, Menta Media
I’m the Founder of Menta Media, a boutique media company building content IPsand podcasts in collaboration with leading creators and brands across the UAE. We also help founders and entrepreneurs develop authority and demand through strategic, high-impact content and long-form podcasts that convert attention into trust, influence, and opportunity.
We’re the team behind Menta Originals, our in-house production arm where we produce original shows on topics spanning business, personal growth, wellness, and technology.
📚 Background & Experience
I spent six years in traditional Islamic studies, focusing on classical Arabic, jurisprudence, and Islamic thought and I also hold degrees in Law and International Business from Staffordshire University (UK) and
Before founding Menta Media, I led educational initiatives such as Mini MBA and Valued Imam Project in Sri Lanka, focused on leadership and capacity building for educators and community leaders.
🌍 Speaking & Impact
Over the years, I’ve delivered over 100 lectures and workshops across the UAE, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and beyond, teaching purpose mindset, clarity and leadership through an Islamic lens.
👨👩👧👦 Personal
Born in Kandy, Sri Lanka, I now live in Dubai with my wife and two children, Sulaiman and Rahma. Outside work, I love cricket, cycling, and time in nature, moments that remind me that true success lies in balance between dunya and akhira.
